Brieven aan Theo
Վինսենթ վան Գոգ · 1914 · Գեղանկարչություն
For most of his life, Vincent van Gogh wrote letters to his younger brother Theo, an art dealer who supported him financially. In them, he speaks about his paintings and the colors he dreams of, about books, nature, loneliness, faith, poverty, and his struggle with illness.
The letters are an extraordinary self-portrait of an artist — honest, passionate, and deeply moving.
