Slaughterhouse-Five
Կուրտ Վոնեգուտ · 1969 · Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմ
Billy Pilgrim has come unstuck in time. An American soldier captured by the Germans, he survives the firebombing of Dresden in an underground slaughterhouse. Later he is kidnapped by aliens from the planet Tralfamadore, who teach him that all moments exist at once. So it goes.
Vonnegut's anti-war novel, based on his own experience in Dresden, is darkly funny, deeply sad, and like nothing else ever written about war.
