La Nausée
Ժան-Պոլ Սարտր · 1938 · Էքզիստենցիալիզմ
Antoine Roquentin, a historian living in the provincial French town of Bouville, starts to feel a strange nausea. The objects around him — a pebble, a glass of beer, the root of a tree — suddenly seem disgustingly, meaninglessly there. He begins a diary to understand what is happening to him.
Sartre's first novel is a philosophical journey into the discovery of existence without meaning, and the founding text of existentialist literature.
