Tartuffe
The wealthy Orgon falls under the spell of Tartuffe, a religious hypocrite who pretends to be pious while scheming to seduce his wife and steal his fortune. The whole family tries to open Orgon's eyes.
Molière's comedy was banned for years for its satire of religious hypocrisy.
